General Safety and Security Plan for Projects performance
New Jan Group Corporation will take the precaution plan for tasks to be performed as per scope of works in a safe and secure manner after targeted areas environmental assessment to be prepared based on
the following principles:

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
1. HARD HATS
All New Jan Group Corporation employees are equipped with special protective helmets while working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, already they are prepared and protected by protective helmets.

The orange color helmets with New Jan Group labels for the protection of employees against impact and penetration of falling and flying objects are meet the specifications contained in Safety Requirements for Industrial Head Protection.

2. EYE PROTECTION
All New Jan Group Corporation employees will be equipped with special eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents, doubled when using a face shield, when involved in cutting, drilling, grinding operations, or when pouring or mixing concrete

All face and eye protection equipment will be kept clean and in good manner for proper use. The use of this type equipment with structural or optical defects will be prohibited.

3. HEARING PROTECTION (Noise)
Surrounding loud machines and cutting/drilling/grinding tools; As per SOW wherever it is not feasible to reduce the noise levels, Permissible Noise Exposures, and ear protective devices will be provided and used.

All Ear Protective Devices inserted in the ear will be fitted individually by competent persons.

4. DUST MASKS
All New Jan Group Corporation employees When working around powdery construction materials will be provided with respirators, and will provide training for the employee.

New Jan Group Corporation will select and provide an appropriate respirator based on the respiratory hazard(s) to which the worker is exposed and workplace and user factors that affect respirator performance and reliability.

5. UNPROTECTED SIDES AND EDGES
All New Jan Group Corporation employees on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level will be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (as shown in the pictures)

Each New Jan Group Corporation employees on walking/working surfaces will be protected from falling through holes (including skylights) more than 6 feet (1.8 m) above lower levels, by personal fall arrest systems, covers, or guardrail systems erected around such holes.

New Jan Group will have readily available on the job site, extra PPE for visitors who need to enter/ tour/ inspect their project site. PPE will be maintained in good working order and in a highly hygienic manner.

6. SCAFFOLDS

- Properly erected and inspected daily
- No trip hazards / debris / excessive construction materials on the platforms.
- All access doors will be closed at all times, except while passing through.
- On working scaffolds (even those at less than 6’ high), provide a properly constructed job-site ladder at 
each location so that workers are not climbing scaffolds or frames or jumping down from them. Enforce the
use of safe access ladders.
- Base plates and “Mud sills” (plate to prevent base plate sinking into the mud)

 

7. EXCAVATIONS
Each employee in an excavation will be protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph of this section except when:

- Excavations are made entirely in stable rock; or
- Excavations are less than 5 feet (1.52 m) in depth and examination of the ground by a competent person
provides no indication of a potential cave-in.

Protective systems will have the capacity to resist without failure all loads that are intended or could reasonably be expected to be applied or transmitted to the system.

The slopes and configurations of sloping and benching systems will be selected and constructed by the employer or his designee and will be in accordance with the requirements as follows:

Allowable configurations and slopes
Excavations will be sloped at an angle not steeper than one and one-half horizontal to one vertical (34 degrees measured from the horizontal).

Materials and equipment

- Excavations are made entirely in stable rock; or Excavations are less than 5 feet (1.52 m) in depth and
examination of the ground by a competent person provides no indication of a potential cave-in.
- Manufactured materials and equipment used for protective systems will be used and maintained in a manner that is consistent with the recommendations of the manufacturer, and in a manner that will prevent employee exposure to hazards.
- When material or equipment that is used for protective systems is damaged, a competent person will examine the material or equipment and evaluate its suitability for continued use. If the competent person cannot assure the material or equipment is able to support the intended loads or is otherwise suitable for safe use, then such material or equipment will be removed from service, and will be evaluated and approved by a registered professional engineer before being returned to service.


8. WORKING IN HIGH PLACES

- Proper harnesses and attachment points when working in unprotected areas
- Protect hazardous fall areas with properly constructed guard rails (Top and Middle)
- Provide properly constructed job-site ladders or manufactured at appropriate access points.
- All ladders will extend 3 Ft. (0.91 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder is used to gain access.
- The distance from the base of the ladder to the object to which the top of is being supported will not be greater than 25% of the ladders working length.

9. IMPALEMENT HAZARDS

- All vertically exposed rebar ends are to be protected with REBAR CAPS
- Replace broken rebar caps
- All protruding nails or screws will be bent over or removed from all construction material. (even in construction debris)HIGH TRAFFIC AREA
- Provide properly attired and equipped SIGNAL MAN as required. (Protect non-construction related vehicular/pedestrian traffic.)
- Personnel working in vicinity of heavy equipment are to be wearing reflective vests

10. ELECTRICAL SAFETY

- No portable electric tools used on aluminum ladders.
- All electrical tools / equipment plugs and cords are in good working order. (no exposed insulation / taped insulation)
- All electrical cords inspected daily to ensure that they are in good working order.

11. FIRE PROTECTION
- All welding operations will have a fire watch. (with a working fire extinguisher)
- Fire extinguishers beside every flame generating piece of equipment.

12. HAZMAT
- All Hazardous Materials will be stored separate from all other materials.
- All hazardous materials clearly marked.
- Ensure all propane, mapp gas, acetylene, and oxygen cylinders are stored in an upright position and separate from each other or any other materials.

13. SAFETY ATTITUDE
- Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
- Correct a safety deficiency as soon as it is noticed. Don’t wait to correct at the end of the work day.
- Do not allow people to work in an unsafe environment.

14. SITE CLEANLINESS
- Every effort should be made to keep the entire job site clean.
- Keep all walkways and doorways free of derbies and tripping hazards.
- Job site will be cleaned at the end of every workday or prior to the end of each shift.

15. WELDING
- Employees conducting welding operations will wear appropriate eye protection, to include the proper level shade. (Shade: the darkness of the filter). Sunglasses or non-factory manufactured welding shades will not be used for welding.
- All welding operations will have a fire watch. (with a working fire extinguisher)
- Protect other employees / passer-bys from flash burns by enclosing the welding operation with an opaque, fire resistant material.

16. GENERAL SAFETY
- All employees will be required to wear fully enclosed shoes when on the job site.
- When working with sharp objects employees will wear gloves.
- When working with paints or any other vapor producing chemical ensure adequate ventilation.
- Adequate lighting will be maintained in all areas where construction is in progress and in all other areas where inspections or quality assurance verification may be required.
- The project site may be shut down by the COR at anytime if severe (life or limb threatening) safety conditions are observed, or if basic safety precautions are habitually ignored. The job site will remain shut down until these discrepancies are corrected. Time extensions will not be granted for time lost due to safety shut-downs
- Hygiene considerations for the workers (toilets / hand washing facilities)
- The work will be conducted by New Jan Group in a professional manner, in accordance with accepted methods of constructions.
- New Jan Group will complete the job as per standard/SOW after Notice to proceed.
- New Jan Group Supervisors and the Quality Control Manager will be on the job site at all times when construction is in progress. If either one of them is not fluent in English, New Jan Group will ensure that an interpreter is on-site, and immediately available to translate for them when they interact with the COR.
- New Jan Group will repair and/or replace all items during a one year warranty period and will evaluate issues within 24 hours of notice and complete repairs within 72 hours of notice.
- The Job will be performed as per SOW (site engineers, field supervisors, clinical team, and skilled & unskilled labors as required for the work) leading by fulltime of talented experienced Managers from New Jan Group.
- NEW JAN GROUP CORPORATION will manage a strong technical team from experienced existing pole to perform the assigned job as per SOW successfully.
